Good pointers for Filter Design

1. By making a filter way too wide we can reduce the computational load on the PC.

2. We can also break the filter in two steps, high decimated followed by big pass band and then low decimated followed by desired pass band.

3. The transition bandwidth is what actually controls the number of taps.

4. When we say "decimation" we mean "decimation with proper filtering first".
